Casualties of the 4th

Can I just say that I'm really tired and I'm going to post pictures with a few lines in between and be done with it? Thanks!

Fireworks Friday night.....Pappy is trying to teach my son to climb a tree at 14 months old.

I just love the looks on the kids' faces while they were watching the fireworks. It was so sweet.

At the park on Saturday feeding the ducks. They must have been really hungry because after the bread was gone I saw them gazing longingly at Malachi's little fat legs. :) Notice that Kari's cowering behind Memaw in one of the pictures. The ducks swarmed us when they saw food and it nearly gave Kari a heart attack! I'm thinking that Kari's fear of "deahs" will be replaced with fear of ducks.

After church on Sunday it was family time. For those of you that know our family....notice anything different about these pictures? Feel free to say some extra prayers for our family. :)

Our family decided to play a game of softball but considering there were only 6 of us playing you can understand how loosely I use the word GAME. At this point, I'm questioning the logic of calling a baseball a SOFTball too. With every great GAME of softball comes casualties. At least in our family it does. My poor SIL has a HUGE upper lip right now and seriously, it was up for debate during the first 10 minutes of the crisis whether she was going to pass out first or me. I would post a picture of the results but I fear the retaliation. She looked just a tad on the rough side. :(

I hope everyone has a great week! :)
