Happy Birthday, Cinderella! (Part I)

My baby girl turned THREE on Saturday, July 31st. Wow. I think back to the day she was born and I seriously have tears in my eyes. She made this mama the happiest woman on the earth. 7 pounds, 9 ounces and 21 inches long....what a beautiful baby she was!

First on Saturday, Rebecca came over to give Kari the gifts from her, David and Davey.

Thus, the little fairy outfit! Is it not the cutest thing?

Then her birthday party!

It was a lot of fun and we all enjoyed cooling off with the new sprinkler Kari received from Uncle Jessi.

Let me say a few things about Miss Cinderella. She is absolutely the SWEETEST thing on the face of the earth although she does get sassy, independent, whiny and downright MEAN sometimes (usually when Malachi takes her doll). She's becoming mommy's big helper....she's the best egg-breaker ever, she can dust furniture like nobody's business, she folds washcloths perfectly, she's great with a feather duster and she makes the best cupcakes in the world!! LOL! Her current loves are: her lawnmower, any book that she can get her hands on, her baby dolls, anything princess and yes, she LOVES shopping! :)

She also sings all the time and does a fabulous job at it. She has her own guitar at church that she plays while standing beside Pappy and we spend lots of time on the piano at home playing and singing our hearts out! She says the sweetest prayers and likes to praise the Lord with her hands up high in the air!
She knows her ABC's, counts to 12 and knows how to spell her first and last names. She's very proud of this and usually walks around Walmart asking everybody what their name is and how to spell it.

Kari,

Mommy loves you more than you'll ever know! My prayer is that you will grow up to serve the Lord and let Him use your life to bring glory to Him.

I love you with all my heart,
Mommy

Coming tomorrow.....a post about Aunt Lacey and Uncle Chris's birthday gift to Kari (YIKES!) and some more birthday pictures.
